Ahem……………sorry about my absence from the blog-o-sphere. We have been active at flash studios producing Ashleigh Still (find her CD “hollywood”, it is lovely and haunting) and now Heather Garborg. And I guess I didn’t realize there are people posting on the blog site and that i could answer them and now they have been left unattended. This will not go on! It has been a great summer of music and friends and getting a place here in minneapolis, the Aster Cafe, (it is a beautiful cafe/listening room on the banks of the mississippi) up and running, and then in September I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. That is going to be a blog entry all by itself. And now the frost is on the pumpkin and the hay is in the barn, as the song says, the walkin’ man walks. I always loved that song by James Taylor, not necessarily one of his better known, but a song that captures restless feelings and the change of seasons………….the other thing I want to do is post some tunes from the JA archives that never came out. Stand by and thank you for your patience.

I have had maybe three websites, and been a big part of another. Can’t remember the first–when this whole computer thing started it was so important to have a website, and so we all surged forward, with fistfuls of photos and stuff to put on it. Then myspace became the thing, and my website languished–you could still get there, but it was the digital equivalent of a dusty main street with a couple tumbleweeds bouncing through. At one point, I hadn’t been on it for 3 years, let alone anyone else…………..

But now, the pendulum swings back–myspace is out, and here we are, rebuilding our websites and trying to herd someone into the corral for a two-step around the premises. So welcome on back. I’ll try to stay with it this time, with songs, photos, ramblings, anything to make your clickin time worth your while. Have a look around, we’ll be talking. See you soon.
